Cowboy Through the Looking Glass

Have you ever had that feeling like you just arrived from the past? I have.
This has been one of those weeks where a lot of random thoughts that didn’t appear to have anything to do with each other suddenly came together and brought new insight.
I'm sure it has much to do with this time of year. As we head into Labor Day weekend I reflect back over a long beautiful summer then ironically catch myself saying, “But it went by so fast.” What’s next?
It’s kind of like being immersed in that epic novel you thought would take forever to read but got lost in its time only to wake up on the last page wishing it would never end.

Like the cowboy through the looking glass I’m feeling a sense of arrival. Like endings and beginnings at the same time I’m looking forward to Autumn. It’s going to be a busy season full of new workshops, classes, people and activity. I’m grateful for this summer and its story may be ending but its wonderful memories will not.
Anyway, there’s a new story just ahead and it’s about to begin!
Enjoy the holiday weekend!
